U.S. individuals living outside the United States (including those residing in U.S. territories) may, if they meet the requirements, be eligible for certain tax credits. In this webinar, you will learn how to determine which credits your clients may be eligible for and whether they meet the requirements to claim that credit. This webinar will include information on credits such as the Earned Income Credit, the Child Tax and Additional Child Tax Credits, the American Opportunity Credit and the Recovery Rebate Credit.

At the conclusion of this webinar, you will be able to:

  • list the credits potentially available to individuals residing outside the United States
  • cite the requirements for claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit
  • explain the Earned Income Credit AGI limitations
  • define a Qualifying Child for EITC purposes
